About the Event

📢 Welcome to INSTR 2026

We are pleased to invite you to submit your contribution to the 10th International Symposium on Transport Network Resilience (INSTR 2026), which will be held in Lyon, France, from July 15 to 17, 2026.

Following the success of the previous nine editions, INSTR 2026 aims to bring together the world's leading transportation researchers, practitioners, and policymakers who are dedicated to enhancing the resilience and reliability of transport networks.

During the three-day symposium, plenary sessions featuring internationally recognized speakers and interactive breakout sessions will take place in Lyon, France's renowned culinary capital. Participants will have the opportunity to network, exchange best practices, and share cutting-edge research in transport network planning, analysis, and management.

This 10th edition of INSTR will focus on scientific challenges and issues raised by new theoretical developments in transport network resilience, including artificial intelligence applications, cybersecurity considerations, and the integration of connected, automated, and electric vehicle systems. The event will also highlight new advances in mobility data analytics, uncertainty quantification, and robust optimization techniques for building more resilient transportation networks.

INSTR 2026 is strategically positioned between two major international events related to transportation: WCTR'26 in Toulouse and ISTTT'26 in Munich. This offers a unique opportunity for global knowledge exchange across the transport research community, reinforcing INSTR’s role as a central hub for resilience research in transportation.

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract in English of up to 2,500 words.

Submission Deadline: Extended to Sunday, March 15, 2026 AoE (Final Extension).
No further postponements will be possible.

All submissions will undergo peer review by the  Scientific and Organizing Committees.

  • Please follow the Submission Guidelines and download the appropriate Word or LaTeX template before uploading your abstract.
  • For the complete list of topics, please visit the Topics of Interest page.
